ANGLO Staff Docs

Docs is the name we give to this site where you can find all the practical information related to carrying out your role.

Welcome

Welcome to the ANGLO Staff Docs. This website is dedicated to providing ANGLO staff with the practical information needed to perform their role. It is intended to be used as a reference point and as a supplement to the training that ANGLO provides.

Every ANGLO staff role has a 'shelf' on this website. Visiting the shelf for your role will display 'books' - all the relevant information for your role is organised across these books. It is best to read these books in order (top to bottom, or left to right) for the first time. After that you can use the powerful search function accessed using the menu at the top of the screen.

If you are not familiar with ANGLO programmes and wish to learn more before you read any role-specific information, visit the ANGLO Programmes page then return here.

All the shelves are listed below for your convenience:

Teachers
ANGLO Leaders
Activity Managers
Teaching Managers
Workshop & Teaching Supervisors
Safeguarding & Welfare Officers

Management team: some books are not public and therefore are not visible unless you log in to this site with an @anglo.uk.com email address, details of which will be provided to you shortly before you start working with ANGLO.

ANGLO Programmes

Overview

ANGLO programmes are residential courses for international students from 10 to 18 years-old. They take place on university campuses across the UK during the months of June, July (mainly) and August.

Students on these programmes travel in groups accompanied by a group leader - often their school teacher.

Each programme lasts 13 or 14-nights (though there are shorter ones available) and each ANGLO centre repeats the student programme two, three, or four times. Each student intake is known as a 'turn'.

While in the UK, students take part in:

ANGLO organises every moment of the programme: from landing in the UK to arriving at the airport to fly back home.

You should now be more familiar with ANGLO programmes. We recommend returning to the main page to learn more about your role.
